Accepted Artists
On the day of our events, this information will help everyone make things run smoothly:
*Make sure you’ve emailed your submission, and received the acceptance letter
*Bring your GALLERY READY work. We are supplying nails and picture hangers as well as poster hangers; and
*Placard (here are a few things you MUST include)
-Name
-Title
-Asking price (if not for sale, NFS)
+You MAY include, but not required
+A short bio
+A short story about the work
It is our goal to sell everything if we can!
UPON ARRIVAL
*Check in with both Julia and Ezra before hanging your work.
*Be prepared to wait, sometimes there can be a line of participants
*DO NOT SET YOUR WORK DOWN AND WALK AWAY FROM IT unless you have been instructed by Julia or Ezra to do so
*Be prepared to hang your own work.
*We will have hammers and picture hanging supplies
*You will also place your placard with either double-sided tape or a 3M poster strip.
We understand the layout of the neighborhood can be difficult to find free parking, the hustle and bustle in the outside world is vastly different from the venue, and we will do everything in our power to expedite the process as smoothly as possible.
We do appreciate if you can lend a hand in installing work as well, as we will be transporting works to the venue as well. If you see a piece that goes well with yours that hasn’t been hung yet, you can stage it near yours! PLEASE MAKE SURE if you move a piece of work, you HAVE TO keep the placard with it.
***REMINDER***
We only have the venue for the day, and the safety of any work left behind cannot be guaranteed. If we are transporting your work, we will be accountable, but all other works, and any work that has been clearly announced as "local" must be removed from the premesis the same night as the event. If you donot wish to stay until 2am, we ask that you keep it up as long as you are able. Check with Julia that it is ok to remove any work before taking.
